Interceptor is a flavored, chewable tablet that should be given once a month to prevent Heartworms and other worms. Dogs should be tested for Heartworms prior to receiving this medication. Please note that this medication does require a prescription, meaning your pet needs to have a current Annual Health Exam within the last year. The main ingredient in Interceptor is Milbemycin Oxime, a product known for it’s effectiveness against parasites.This product also controls adult hookworms, and removes/control Adult Roundworms, and whipworm infections in dogs.
