Atlantic Veterinary Care was founded in 2011 by Dr. Karin Tichy. After scouting numerous locations in and around Damariscotta, Dr. Tichy chose the Coastal Marketplace as the home for Atlantic Vet. Renovations began in early 2012, and Atlantic Veterinary Care officially opened to the public in April 2012.
